Tiny Quilt No. 48
Sewed this sweet one on the patio of friend and fellow artist, Amanda Nadig, the first night I got to Chicago. We sat and sewed after dinner while her kids played ball out in the yard until it was too deep blue to see.
Made from calico scraps from SmartArt in Nashville, batted with a paper-towel folded in quarters (it’s what we had on the patio table) and the center square is a swatch of Amanda’s grandmother’s eighth-grade graduation dress. Sewn 4 June 2022
